Hallmark has created a special edition set of two bas-relief ornaments to commemorate Star Wars Celebration V & the 30th anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back. This set which features Yoda with the ESB logo and the Boba Fett Star Wars Celebration V logo was created exclusively for Star Wars Celebration V attendees.
During the event, Hallmark will be handing out 2 different series of exclusive promo buttons. One set features some of this years Keepsake ornaments while the other set introduces a new product line featuring Star Wars quotes. Different button designs are offered each day in limited quantities while supplies last.

Which 2010 Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Was The Hardest to Find During Ornament Premiere Weekend?
Although sell-outs may vary by store, based on the available information, three Limited-quantity ornaments: “Lady Cardinal”, “Run, Toto, Run!” and “O Christmas Chipmunks!” sold out the fastest at most stores across the country and were hence the hardest to find during Ornament Premiere weekend.
The single non-allocated Keepsake ornament with the highest sell-through was: “100 Years of Helping You Say It All”, commemorating Hallmark’s 100th birthday.

2010 Hallmark Retail Associate Gift (Ornament) Revealed
100 Years of Helping People Say It all
Retail Employee Gift
This Holiday season, Hallmark will give Corporate (Hallmark Creations and Amy’s) store employees a “100 Years of Helping You Say It All”, Hallmark 100th Anniversary commemorative ornament, as a thank you gift. Although this ornament will be similar to the one that will be available at Gold Crown stores,* it will be re-issued under the name “100 Years of Helping People Say It All.” The packaging will be altered to reflect the name change and the right up on the back of the box will be slightly modified to include a personal message for employees.
*The 2010 Hallmark Retail Associate Gift will be a regular-line ornament with a slightly modified battery cover which reflects the name change, as such it will not be a repaint as earlier rumored.

To kick-off the celebration of Keepsake Ornament Premiere, July 10 and 11 (at your local Hallmark Gold Crown store) Hallmark will be having a Facebook party hosted by Keepsake Studio Artists:

National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention Exclusive Ornament Announced
A 500 piece limited-quantity repaint of the 2009 Shoe-sational! BARBIE ornament will be available for purchase at the National Barbie® Doll Collectors Convention. The Convention is scheduled for July 21-24 at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel in Cleveland, OH.
Keepsake Artist Debra Murray plans to attend the convention and sign ornaments for collectors.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 28, 2010) — Hallmark will return to the SDCC this summer (July 21-25) with a line up of exclusive DC Comics, Star Wars, and Simpsons products for the event to introduce enthusiastic collectors to the world of Keepsake Ornaments.
75 Years of DC Comics – Features the publisher’s three most iconic heroes bursting into action from the very comic books in which they made their first cover appearances Wonder Woman in Sensation Comics No. 1 (January 1942), Superman in Action Comics No. 1 (June 1938) and Batman in Detective Comics No. 27 (May 1939). Limited run of 750.
K-3PO and R-3PO, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ – This two-pack of protocol droids–features repaints of the C-3PO Keepsake Ornament offered in 2003– celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of The Empire Strikes Back. While the red-plated R-3PO can be seen working within the Rebels’ secret Echo Base on the ice planet Hoth, the white-armored K-3PO is shown as an advisor in the base’s command center during the Imperial attack that ultimately drove the rebels back into space. Limited run of 1,000 sets.

The ‘Keepsake Ornaments’ of each design will be offered for sale every day of the convention. Visitors to the Hallmark booth at Comic-Con again will receive a series of collectible buttons featuring Star Wars Keepsake Ornaments. The button series will feature five designs, with one design to be given away on each day of the convention. A limited number of buttons with each design will be produced.
