Additional 2011 National KOC Event Information Released
‘The KOC 25th Class Reunion’ is the name of this years national event. It pays homage to the 25 years that the club has been in existence.
Keepsake Ornament Club 25th Class Reunion
Dates: August 5-6, 2011
Location: Kansas City, MO
- Meet Keepsake artists (will be held each day, allowing you to get twice as many signatures)
- Attend artist seminars
- Purchase ornaments and other product created exclusively for the event including repaints and all-new-designs (you can purchase exclusive ornaments in advance when registering using event website)
- Games (more games are planned, meaning you will have even more chances to win prizes, including repainted ornaments and truly one-of-a kind items)

- Begins: April 1, 2011 (starting at noon)
- Cost for event: $50 per member (includes admission to event, activities on Friday, Aug. 5, and Saturday, Aug 6, plus a gift tote containing a commemorative Keepsake Ornament and other surprises)
- Local Club Dinner: $45 per member

* NOTE: The excitement surrounding this year’s new Keepsake Ornaments is going to build a little longer than usual. Keepsake Ornament Premiere Weekend, during which more than 170 all-new ornaments will be available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores, is planned for July 16-17, 2011. Typically, Ornament Premiere Weekend is set on the weekend following Independence Day. With the July 4 holiday falling on a Monday this year, Keepsake officials chose to push the event out one week to better fit the schedules of potential summer vacationers.

Hallmark will return to the National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention (NBDCC) this summer (July 27- 30) with an event exclusive limited-quantity Barbie® Keepsake ornament. Visitors to the Hallmark booth can also see a preview of Barbie® Keepsake ornaments scheduled to be released for October Debut, 2011, and a sneak peek of the 2012 Barbie® Keepsake ornaments. Additionally, Hallmark will be sponsoring the Vintage “60’s Beach Movies” Luncheon on Friday, July 29 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

As the ornament is one of the benefits of KOC membership, the decision was made to ensure that every member who wanted it had a chance to purchase it. This will be communicated to all KOC members in the December issue of the “For Keeps” KOC newsletter which will arrive in homes starting Dec. 2.
KOC members must place their order by Dec. 31 through their Gold Crown store (orders will not be taken at 1-800-HALLMARK). Payment of $14.95 plus applicable tax will be due when the order is placed.
The Switzerland Santa ornament will be shipped to stores in mid-2011 for pickup.
2010 Fall Mailing (Local Club Ornament) Shipped
So Cute in a Boot!
Special Edition
The 2010 Local Club Ornaments have started to ship and have been reported as received by a few clubs. As previously predicted, this years “LCO” is an alternative color variation of the 2010 “So Cute in a Boot!” miniature ornament. The color changes include a red hat with a bright green brim and ear flaps, a red scarf with bright green fringe and bright green mittens.
If you are a member of our club (or indicated you would like to be a member of our club) and have a current KOC membership, you can obtain this local club ornament from us by simply emailing your request to us atdigitalDREAMBOOK@Gmail.com. Although these ornament are free to our members, there is a nominal fee charged to cover the cost of the packing materials used and shipping charges (actual postage) incurred. Alternatively, individuals can obtain any of the local club ornaments we have available at no cost at any Hallmark sponsored event where we are in attendance.
Please note, in addition to the 2010 Local club ornament, we also have a limited supply of the 2009 local club ornament available upon request.

Each store hosting a 2010 in-store artist signing event will be given 5 “Berry Sweet Bear” repaint ornaments to use as register-to-win door prizes during their event.
