Home & Family Hallmark Star Wars Artists Interview
In celebration of the theatrical release or “Rogue One, A STAR WARS Story,” Hallmark artists Orville Wilson and Kris Gaughran made an appearance on the Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.” During the segment, they showed the new Hallmark line of Star Wars products including the Keepsake ornaments they created for 2016 and shared a sneak peek of a new 2017 Keepsake ornament.

This month’s featured series, Once Upon a Christmas celebrates its 6th year in 2016.
Santa Takes Flight

This series is a real team effort in the Keepsake Studio. Artists who have worked on the ornaments in this series include Robert Chad, Ken Crow, Anita Marra Rogers, Nello Williams, Orville Wilson, Tom Best, Julie Forsyth, Jim Kemme, and Joanne Eschrich.
This was the first series to introduce the Magic Cord, which allows Keepsake Ornaments to synchronize light and sound shows with other ornaments connected to the cord. According to many fans, the light and sound shows this series features are among the very best.
Once Upon a Christmas tells the story of Santa preparing to go on his Christmas Eve flight, from checking his list to making toys to packing those toys and taking flight! So far, that is. What do you think Santa will be doing in next year?
Additional Death Star Tree Toppers Availability
Based on consumer demand, Hallmark has decided to send the Star Wars™ Death Star™ Tree Topper back into production. The additional pieces from this second limited run will be highly allocated and divided into three shipments. The first shipment is scheduled to arrive on December 12, 2016 (just in time to coincide with the release date of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). The other two shipments will arrive on January 30, 2017, and March 5, 2017*.

2017 Sneak Peek: Royals Fever Continues

Looks like Hallmark hit a home run with its MLB Kansas City Royals™ Salvador Perez Ornament. The ornament honoring the beloved Royals catcher has been such a hit that Hallmark has decided to release another Royals-themed Keepsake Ornament. Next on deck will be Sluggerrr, the Kansas City Royals mascot. This ornament which will be the first Hallmark ornament modeled after a Major League Baseball mascot will be available in October 2017.
2016 Local Club Ornament Fall Mailing
The last of the four mailings that local clubs will receive from the national Keepsake Ornament Club for 2016 is currently being delivered to Club Sponsors/Club Contacts. The shipment contains: the November issue of Collectively Speaking and this year’s local club ornament, a repaint of “Gumball Santa” by Nello Williams.
