HALLMARK KEEPSAKE ARTIST Christy Ni has loved drawing ever since kindergarten, where her “side hustle” was tracing and trading her artwork to other kids for snacks. Now all grown up, Christy enjoys collaborating with the Keepsake team to come up with fresh and trendy ornament ideas. “I love putting a little millennial and Gen Z humor into my work,” she says. “It is so fun making ornaments for other people like me!“

Kris Gaughran grew up watching her aspiring-artist mother enter paintings in 4H competitions, intricately decorate cookies, and never give up on her passion for creating. “She inspired me to do the same,” Kris explains. “From early on, I found so many ways to be creative. I would draw, doodle, and add illustrations to the stories I read. My mom’s unwavering example continues to fuel my artistic expression today.”
