The new Rocking Horse Memories series is inspired by one of the most beloved series in Keepsake Ornament history, the Rocking Horse series, which ran for 16 years beginning in 1981 and ended in 1996.

Hey Keepsake fans! We’re excited to bring you an update on the Keepsake Artist Signing Events: They’re going VIRTUAL! For the first time ever, Hallmark will be hosting a Virtual Artist Signing Event and they want all of YOU to join them! Join Hallmark on their Facebook page on Saturday, August 22 for a day of live Keepsake Artist interviews and interaction, packed full of ornament giveaways and more.

Also beginning August 22, get your hands on our event exclusive ornament, Gingerbread Carousel, at the 16 winning store locations! Plus, every single ornament will be randomly signed by two Keepsake Artists.

Due to Edythe and Robert’s retirement this month, they will not be attending the virtual artist signing event later this summer. Additionally, they will not be signing the exclusive artist signing event ornament.

What will the new experience include?

A Virtual Artist Signing Event on August 22, 2020 with live Keepsake Artist interviews and ornament giveaways on Hallmark’s Keepsake Facebook page.
As well as the release of pre-signed Gingerbread Carousel ornaments sold in the 16 winning store locations on August 22, 2020.

Where and how will the exclusive Artist Signing Event Piece be sold?

The event exclusive Gingerbread Carousel will be sold at the 16 winning locations, starting on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Each ornament will be signed by two Keepsake Artists and randomly distributed to stores. Stores will receive a fair but random mix of signed product across all Artist combinations.

What will the new experience include for winning Local Clubs and Stores?

Winning Local Clubs and Stores will be featured during the live interviews throughout the day.
Artist interview questions will be pre-selected from winning local club and store submissions.
AND! the KOC will be arranging video calls with winning clubs and store associates along with Keepsake Artists throughout the month of September! After enjoying the Virtual Artist Signing Event, look forward to a private group Q&A session packed full of sneak peeks, signed ornament giveaways, and more.

NOTE: In 1970, Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson and activist John McConnell separately asked Americans to join in the grassroots demonstration with the goal of raising awareness about mankind’s role in protecting our natural world. McConnell originally chose the spring equinox (March 21, 1970) and Nelson chose April 22, which ended up becoming the official celebration date. (Given that the date of the spring equinox changes over time, it could have made things more complicated to go with that date!)

On April 22, 1970, the first Earth Day, 20 million Americans ventured outdoors and protested in favor of a more eco-conscious society. Though Earth Day started out as more of a political movement, today it has become a popular day for many communities to gather together and clean up litter, plant trees, or simply reflect on the beauty of nature.
