Ornament Spotlight: Growing Up Santa
Growing Up Santa
1st in the series.
Growing Up Santa
When Keepsake Artist Sheyda Abvabi Best first heard of the idea of Young Santa, she absolutely loved it.
“I especially loved the thought of him experiencing the same wonders we all do as kids,” she says.
For this ornament, she thought back to growing up with her mom, a Hallmarker herself, “and all the Christmas magic that filled our house “I remember my sisters and me grabbing our winter coats, with boots and mittens flying as we raced to get to the snow. I like to imagine Young Santa hastily throwing on his winter gear just like we did! The future will bring some cute scenes of Young Santa’s outdoor adventures, and I hope you’ll join us for all of them!”

Ornament Spotlight: Sandal the Snowman
Sandal the Snowman
1st in the series.
See You On The Beach
Growing up in Florida, Keepsake Artist Allie Jachimowicz never experienced a white Christmas. So, when it came to thinking about a new ornament series, she went with the kind of white Christmas she knows best -the beach!
“Sand is a great building material, so Sandal the Sandman became my Florida snowman. I gave him a palm tree decorated with lights just like the one my parents always put out for Christmas. And each year, I’ll give Sandal a new animal friend to help him celebrate.” Staying true to her Florida heritage, she says, “Flamingoes will definitely be making an appearance!”

Ornament Spotlight: Santa’s Workshop Wonders
Santa’s Workshop Wonders
The One True Santa
Keepsake Artist Tracy Larsen found inspiration for creating Santa’s Workshop Wonders in his own holiday traditions.
“I love visiting store window displays at Christmastime, especially the ones that include animation. I really wanted to share that sense of magic those scenes bring to life for me.”
With music, sound effects, lights, and motion, Tracy has created an enchanting display. And you should have no doubt about the authenticity of his jolly old elf. Tracy’s fond memories of visiting Santa as a child in Ogden; Utah, inspired this ornament’s, St. Nick. “I was (and am) convinced that he was (and is)
the one true Santa!”

2022 Dream Book Message
2022 Dream Book
These are the days…
What comes to mind when you think about your childhood holiday traditions? If you’re anything like us (and we kinda think you are), you threw yourself with glee into everything that looked like, sounded like, smelled like or felt like Christmas.
And, oh, the anticipation:
How soon can we put up the tree?
When can we make Christmas cookies?
Why can’t we stay up and wait for Santa?
Mom, do you think I’m on the nice list?
Those were the days, right? Anything seemed possible and everything felt magical, from tangled lights and snowball fights to reindeer flights and silent nights. Those really were the days—they tie us to people, places and moments in time that are etched in our hearts forever.
And now, it’s our turn to make the magic. To kick-start the holiday spirit that will fill the next generation with the same sense of childhood wonder we remember so well.
You can feel it, right? That spark is still there. It’s what our Keepsake artists use to inspire every ornament they create. Drawing on their own memories and traditions, they add details of life’s moments that are often very personal. And they listen to your stories, too. Because creating fresh ways to bring your memories to life each year is every artist’s mission.
So, this year, as you settle in to explore the Dream Book with loved ones, we hope you’ll share stories about the traditions of your past. And that you’ll discover ways to begin a few new ones, too. Because the stories and memories we share now will become the next generation’s “those were the days” moments. And those are the moments that bring Christmas magic to life.
