Series ornaments did well again this year. In fact, 8 of the top 10 ornaments sold during Ornament Premiere are series pieces. Once again the popular Twelve Days of Christmas series by Edythe Kegrize, still lead the list with Six Geese-a-Laying, 6th in the series being the highest selling ornament during Ornament Premiere. When Joanne Eschrich was asked years ago to come up with “yet another Santa” she thought, “How may can there be?” She was lying in bed one night when it came to her: “This needs to be a Santa Claus that brings a special message” to the recipient. That thought evolved into the Father Christmas series.
Joanne is very detailed with each Father Christmas she creates. “Because each Father Christmas comes with a message, I’m careful to make sure that everything from the flow of his coat to the expression on his face reflects the message he holds.”
