And to make this year’s convention-exclusive ornament extra special, every Keepsake Studio artist added their own personal creative touch to the North Pole Village ornament.

What was the rarest bird at the convention?
Most convention attendees would probably answer the miniature Elegant Hummingbird repaint… However, there was apparently another bird that was potentially more rare.
Ring in the Season
3rd in the series.
While many lined up for the opportunity to purchase a Mystery Bag in hopes of finding the elusive little hummingbird inside, at least one convention attendee discovered a gold-plated winter cardinals bell, third in the Ring in the Season series, in her product bag instead of the replated first in series bell (featuring scrollwork and snowflakes) created exclusively for the 2017 KOC event.
Whether this was accidental or a surprise that Hallmark kept a secret is anyone’s guess, but in the meantime check your Ring in the Season bell from the event to see if you were also a secret winner, and then please come back and share what you discovered! GOOD LUCK!
Welcome to Keepsakes Village KOC Event Gift Bag
There were many surprises for attendee’s to enjoy inside their commemorative event tote bag. Here are the gifts that were enclosed in the teal and white polyester tote:
- Two event repaints.
- KEEPSAKE Ornament Club commemorative items all imprinted with “30th ANNIVERSARY Keepsake Ornament Club.”
- Commemorative Lapel pin. Features a mayor mouse, decked upin his finest holding the key to the village, standing atop the event logo.

Some Event Grab Bags Yield a Special Surprise
The Keepsakes team has collected some of their favorite Hallmark products to place in this year’s “Welcome to Keepsakes Village” Mystery Grab Bags (retail value $100+).
Quantities are limited to 900 bags and tickets do not guarantee the holder a bag. Tickets are redeemable at the Product Shop or Pop-Up Shop in Exhibit Hall B.
Mystery Bags contain 1 Cookie Cutter Christmas series ornament, 1 ornament from the past, 2 Keepsake Coloring books, 1 large glass candle, 1 Itty Bitty, a signature card, notecard set, mini roll wrap, gift bag and set of gift tags.
Additionally, 350 lucky attendees will discover an event exclusive repaint of the 2016 Miniature Beauty of Birds Hummingbird in their grab bag.
