Legacy Cord

The Legacy Cord was used to provide sound, light and motion when connected by the “pigtail” to up to four Magic ornaments sold in 2009 and earlier.

Hallmark announced the Legacy Cord was discontinued on March 10, 2021.  An incandescent miniature light string may be used as an alternate means to power the ornaments.  Use only with standard UL listed light strings of 3.5- or 6-volt bulbs.  Ornament should not be used on light strings with: blinking lights, LED lights, lights on pre-lit trees.  It is not recommended to add more than three ornaments per light string.

Light Clip

A molded spring clip inside of the ornament that holds the light bulb of a light string in the ornament to create a lighting effect.

Limited Edition (LE)

Ornaments or pins that are produced with a specific issue quantity. Stores are only allocated a certain quantity and are not re-orderable.

A piece scheduled for a predetermined production quantity or time period. a majority of Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments are limited to one year of availability and have varied production runs contingent upon demand. Certain collector’s club pieces are limited by a published predetermined number. For example, “Sharing Christmas” limited to 16,500 pieces and “Gentle Tidings” limited to 17,500 pieces.

Limited-quantity Ornament

Ornaments that are produced at a fraction of the typical run quantities of a normal Keepsake ornament. Stores are only allocated a certain quantity and are not re-orderable. Typically, these ornaments are planned around key events such as Ornament Premiere, Ornament Debut, and Holiday Open House.
