We’re thrilled to introduce you to the newest members of the Keepsake family! Hallmark asked them to give us some background on who they are, where they are from, and what inspires them as artists.

Allie Jachimowicz

Allie: “I was born and raised in the great sunshine state of Florida. I grew up on the Gulf Coast, we’re going to Disney World, watching NASA shuttle takeoffs and rainy afternoons on the porch we’re all commonplace.”

Allie: “I actually did not! I had always been a creator, living in my drawings and craft projects, but didn’t see where my place could be in the art community. As I got older, I learned more about product design and realized that’s where I belong.”

Allie: “I studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design, which was where I really thrived. I got my BFA in Illustration with a minor in Animation. My love of animation growing up has really helped me think, in 3D and add as much personality as I can into my creations.”

Allie: “I love using Instagram for home decor and visual development. I grew up watching Disney and Studio Ghibli–and playing video games with my brother–so I have a strong appreciation for cute, relatable character design.”

Allie: “I joined the Hallmark working on the Hallmark Ornament team. As I learned more of the craft over the next three years with ornaments, I got excited about the possibilities within Keepsake and about elevating my creations into collectible memories.”

Allie: “I would say the camaraderie. It really is a family within the studio and with KOC. Everyone is smiles and joy even when the deadlines starts creeping in.”

Allie: “I’m most excited about seeing my ornaments in the hands of others and the smiles they’ll bring. Also of course, all the opportunities to add more glitter!”

Allie: “We recently became parents to a golden retriever puppy. He’s been our bright spot during the quarantine and has given us a lot of happiness. It’s a lot of work every day, so thank goodness he’s so cute.”

Allie’s work is not entirely new to the line, in 2018 she did “I Feel Good.”  She also had two ornaments in the 2019 line, “Walking on Sunshine” and “Reinbeer” which she teamed up with Tom Best to create. Allie also designed two Signature ornaments, “Flamingo” and “Dinosaur“.
