2027 Sneak Peek: Hallmark Reveals 2027 Disney Keepsake Ornaments at D23 Expo

Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Tree Topper
The 2027 Disneyland Sleeping Beauty Castle Tree Topper will feature light and sound, just like the Walt Disney World Cinderella Castle Tree Topper released in 2026. Tinker Bell flies overhead on both designs.

Sleeping Beauty Castle has been the centerpiece of Disneyland since the park opened in 1955 and remains one of the most recognizable landmarks in Disney Parks history. The new topper is scheduled for release during Ornament Premiere in July 2027.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be the second ornament in Hallmark’s Disney Parks Memories Keepsake Ornament series.

The ornament features a couple of miniature trains traveling along circular tracks through a rugged reddish-brown mountain, surrounded by rocky peaks, tunnels, layered rockwork, and greenery. Additional details appear on the back, and the familiar goat call is included.

Since opening at Disneyland in 1979, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has become one of the park’s most popular attractions. The runaway mine train takes guests through the fictional mining town of Rainbow Ridge and the rugged landscape of the American frontier, including the famous “goat trick.”

It follows Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the first ornament in the series, which is still available online and at local retailers.

Mickey Mouse in an Alice in Wonderland Vehicle
Another 2027 design features Mickey Mouse riding in the pink caterpillar-shaped vehicle from Disneyland’s Alice in Wonderland attraction.

The ornament continues an unofficial series featuring Mickey Mouse as a passenger aboard Disney Parks attractions. The attraction is inspired by Disney’s 1951 animated classic and takes guests through colorful scenes featuring the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, and Queen of Hearts.

New Star Wars and Spider-Man Ornaments
The D23 presentation also featured two Star Wars ornaments and a new Spider-Man design.

Darth Vader’s Throne
Darth Vader sits upon his imposing throne, illuminated by glowing red accents. The Dark Lord of the Sith appears as he does in Obi-Wan Kenobi, with his unmistakable helmet, armor, and seated pose recreated in sculpted detail. The throne’s angular architecture adds to the dark and imposing look of the design.

Force Ghosts
The Force Ghosts ornament brings together Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin Skywalker as translucent blue Force Ghosts standing together on a platform. Their ethereal forms capture the appearance of the Jedi after becoming one with the Force.

Spider-Man
Spider-Man gets a holiday makeover, appearing in mid-air wearing a red-and-white holiday sweater decorated with snowflake and geometric patterns, along with a matching red, blue, and white winter beanie topped with a pom-pom.

In one hand, he balances a blue mug filled with hot cocoa and topped with whipped cream featuring a miniature Spider-Man mask. In the other, he holds a snowball overhead.

Hallmark did not reveal the complete 2027 Disney collection at D23, but the presentation gave collectors an early look at several of the Disney Parks, Star Wars, and Marvel designs coming next year.
