Someone waited up for Santa
but fell asleep, instead.
Even all the animals
can’t wake the sleepyhead!
Still the dreamer sleeps through chirping
and the tap of tiny paws
announcing that the sleigh is coming,
bringing Santa Claus!

Christmas Windows Differences in taste and style among collectors abound, but everyone we talked to shared a common concern: Trees just don’t come large enough to hold all the wonderful ornaments! To help solve that problem, Keepsake sculptor Ken Crow has created Christmas Windows–the first in a series of Christmas scenes sculpted in the round, which can sit as beautifully on a tabletop as they can on a Christmas tree. “I love how the ornament’s 360-degree nature brings you into the scene,” says Ken. “Rather than being an onlooker, you get the sense of actually being in the house.” Also combined in this ornament are the touches of realism so important to many collectors. For instance, there’s a tiny doily on the back of the chair and flocking to add authentic texture. Perhaps the most important need Christmas Widows meets is one of the most personal ones collectors shared with us–it helps preserve treasured memories. Whose heart has not been touched by the innocence of a child who’s fallen asleep while trying desperately to stay awake on Christmas Eve? Excerpted from: “2003 Club Sneak Peek, You Asked for It. You Got It!” For Keeps: Volume 1, Issue 2, Winter 2002” NOTE: Holiday Memory Card enclosed.
Each ornament in this series depicts a delightful Christmas window scene and features a 360-degree design that tells a story from any angle.
