Debra Nielsen grew up riding and caring for horses, which inspired an early love for nature that has followed her throughout her life. It’s also what inspires her creativity. “I love the colors, textures, and compositions I find in the mountains, the woods, and the ocean. A Day at the Beach

I have many friends who live near the beach or look forward to a beach vacation every year, so this ornament is a wonderful symbol of their love of the beautiful sound of the ocean, the gorgeous sunsets and the shell hunting. The starfish is my favorite element of this ornament. I feel its shape shows God’s sense of humor in creation.
